1.The sheep of another fold would be the gentiles. Jesus was suppose to the preach to the Jews. Later the disciples were to go to the Jews first and then the Gentiles.
2.The only one who can separate us from the love of God is ourselves, no one can take us from Him. If we truly love Him with all our hearts and all our souls and all our minds we will in no way want to be separated from Him. God knows our hearts and the conditions of our lives and knows if our hearts true desire is to leave Him.
3.There is often a battle as to whether the Roman’s, the Jews or ourselves were responsible for Jesus death. While it is true that Jesus would not have had to die, had their not been sin in the world, however, Jesus did not have to die for us. In verse 18 Jesus said God gave Him the option to choose, He could back out if He wanted to. “ God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…” Jesus said, “No greater love has a man than this, that He lay down His life for a friend and you are…” God gave us His Son, Jesus gave us His life in obedience to His Father’s will.
