FAMILY BIBLE STUDY 17
Matthew Chapter 27

The story of Jesus takes a sad turn, yet a beneficial step for our salvation.  With these last two chapters you will match the prophecies about Jesus with the correct verse.  Below is a list of the Prophets and an estimate of how many years before Jesus these prophecies were made:

King David: 1011-971 years before Christ
          Isaiah:  740-680 years before Christ
      Zechariah:  520-470 years before Christ

Write the verse or verses from this chapter that fulfills the prophecy.  (Some prophecies I will be writing out for you, and some prophecies will be listed for you to look up for yourself.)

1. Zechariah 11:12-13  "Then I said to them, 'if it is agreeable to you, give me my                                                                wages; and if not, refrain.'  So they weighed out for my wages
thirty pieces of silver ($3,840.00).  And the Lord said to me,
'Throw it to the potter'  that princely price they set on me.  So
I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house
of the Lord for the potter."
2. Psalm 35:19
3. Isaiah 53:7

8. Psalm 69:21
9. Psalm 22:18
10. Isaiah 53:3
11. Psalm 22:17
