HOW?

The sun was shining bright, the birds singing as I sat down to enjoy my breakfast which was a variety of cut fruit: cantaloupe, watermelon, and honeydew. It all smelled so good as the whiff of aroma came with each delicious bite.

Upon thanking the Lord for such a tasty morsel as I took a bite, the thought hit me: “How can smells like this come from the dirt?”

Think about it. How can three different fruits have three different flavors and three different aromas out of the same dirt in a garden?

That led to: “How can fruits from different trees get different aromas, let alone any aroma at all out of wood?

Then I thought about the flowers: “How can, say, five different plants growing in your flower bed, under the same color spectrum show different colors. How does the earth beneath it make the colors without the color spectrum and how do different flowers have different aromas and where do these aromas come from?

You can’t tell me that the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob is not real. The big bang only happened once. It does not happen daily to make new plants, insects, etc… Thank you, Lord, for the beauty and smells around us that we often take for granted.
